Along his journey, the hero encounters Dorothy's son, transforms into classic Oz characters, and must repair the Spiral—a magical thread that connects all worlds of imagination.

Alex shared that the idea for the book came from his classroom reading assignment. Deeply inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, he imagined a new adventure beginning right at his school—pictured as a one-story building with a secret door rumored to lead to a hidden second floor.
