KIRKLAND, Wash. - eTradeWire -- Kirkland, WA & San Diego, CA: Oom Yung Doe Kirkland, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization announced today that our annual Spring Kick-a-thon is coming!  Start warming up your legs now to raise funds for Traditional Martial Arts Scholarship and Tuition Assistance Programs. The official Kick Day is Saturday March 16th starting at 10:00am. This year we are excited to host two in-person kick events, one in San Diego and one in Kirkland.

This event is an amazing opportunity for students and community members to challenge themselves physically and mentally.  In Traditional Martial Arts, we refer to this principle as becoming your own best self. Kickers ask sponsors to pledge a donation per kick or toward the kicker's overall goal, making success a community effort as our kicker's success would not be possible without the sincere interest and generosity of sponsors and donors.

As part of our ongoing mission to promote health and wellness in our community through Traditional Martial Arts, Oom Yung Doe Kirkland offers free community seminars in Women's Self-Defense, Tai Chi, Stress Relief, Moving Meditation and more.  Many of our programs are specifically targeted to support those who are most at-risk for increased emotional, mental, and/or physical challenges, offering a safe, inclusive, and supportive space.
