OFDC Commercial Interiors completes US Eye headquarters in Bradenton
eTradeWire News/10744786
FORT MYERS, Fla. - eTradeWire -- OFDC Commercial Interiors has completed a furniture installation at US Eye's new corporate headquarters in Bradenton that integrates modern interior design principles with contemporary furniture selection.
The space includes traditional executive offices, centralized cubicles and conference rooms, as well as stylish pods and common spaces of varying sizes to foster collaboration, teamwork and creativity.
"There are seismic shifts occurring in the corporate environment with more employees working remotely, and those in offices need spaces for individual work as well as collaborative work," said OFDC President Joe Gammons. "US Eye is one of the nation's fastest-growing organizations, so our challenge was creating a functional workspace for today's company as well as its future version that is five or 10 years down the road."
US Eye, which operates over 60 clinics and five ambulatory surgery centers across the Southeast, employs more than 1,000 staff members and 110 physicians specializing in ophthalmology, optometry, dermatology and cosmetic facial surgery. The company's vision is to build the nation's most admired brand in eye care with a focus on premium outcomes.

OFDC's overall design for the 20,000-square-foot space incorporates splashes of US Eye's signature blue color on partition walls, seating and carpeting. The main lobby features a reception desk, individual chairs for visitors and a smooth, flowing accent wall. Private offices have L-shaped computer desks with under-desk storage, ergonomic chairs and filing cabinets, as well as guest seating for private meetings. Central cubicle pods provide employees with semi-private spaces that include a desk, office chair and under-desk storage. Conference rooms of varying sizes include large tables, padded chairs, decorative lighting, and television monitors for presentations and video conferencing. A spacious employee lounge features modern, white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a coffee station, as well as counter-height tables with complementary stools and padded bench seating. Outdoor spaces offer tranquility during the workday and are complete with white patio-style chairs and tables.

OFDC, which partnered with Fleischman Garcia Maslowski Architecture on the US Eye project, selected high-quality furniture from Affordable Interior Systems (AIS), Global Furniture Group, SitOnIt Seating and Steelcase.
"We have thoughtfully designed our office with the functional needs of our employees at the forefront of each decision," said US Eye President Kinga Huse. "Our new Support Services Center is built to facilitate collaboration, while infusing our modern brand style and aesthetic in every inch of the space. The excellent support we received from our vendors resulted in a perfect representation of US Eye and our values."
US Eye's headquarters is located at 8043 Cooper Creek Blvd., Suite 101, in Bradenton.
