We have finalized the sale of the shelter property on Windsor Avenue in Toms River to HABcore Inc., effective April 16^th. The transition of ownership of the shelter building continues the vital work we had previously hoped to establish at this location on our own, but lacked the financial resources to complete. This transition ensures that the homeless families in our communities will continue to be served with compassion, professionalism, and innovative service.

"After much consideration, the decision was about transitioning the ownership of the shelter to an organization with the financial capacity to continue this vital work and expand the services we've worked so hard to build," said Ocean's Harbor House Board President James Hadley. "This decision, while emotional, is ultimately about paving the way for a brighter future. By transferring this invaluable asset to the right hands, we ensure the shelter's legacy, purpose and continued service to our community."
