Oakland, CA — "Everyone's Favorite Cousin, "CUZ Kev," Kevin Brown known for years of broadcast excellence has returned to the Bay Area for community service.  Community service is something Brown has been well known for cultivating in his many years of broadcasting.

Juneteenth is a reminder of the need for social justice and Brown flew back to the Bay Area to assist.  There is nothing more just than to make sure your neighbors have food to eat to help with their survival.  The worldwide pandemic has had a negative financial impact on the West Oakland neighborhood that has traditionally struggled economically.  That struggle intensified during the pandemic.  Community Foods Market that has long helped the community with nutrition needs, with the help of friends and sponsors will be the location for a Juneteenth Food Drive Thru to help its neighbors in need.
