NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- Michael Morano (Wrong For Right), Dan Grimaldi (The Sopranos), Vinny Pastore (The Sopranos), Michael Rispoli (The Deuce, The Offer), Joseph D'Onofrio (Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale), and Katie McCarty (Just for Showmance, A Very Nutty Christmas) star in the independent feature film The Narrows.

A postcard to Brooklyn, The Narrows is a comedy that explores the value of friendships, family, tradition, and love. Filmed entirely on location in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, The Narrows is loosely based on the real beloved Golden Gate Fancy Fruit and Vegetable, which was established in 1939 by the Cortese family. In The Narrows, a family-owned fruit and vegetable store finds itself under pressure to sell to a developer who wants to gentrify the neighborhood. But, a local, loving mobster (who grew up stealing fruit there), and his lively crew concoct a crazy plan to save the day.

Fiercely loyal to his family, friends, and the neighborhood, Mike Moona (Michael Morano) and his father, Pops (Dan Grimaldi), are about to lose their three-generation business when Borough President Gregory McQuire (Christian Ryan) and hot-shot developer Angelo "Zeffo" Zefferelli (Wass Stevens) present their plan to purchase the land where the store is located. Enter Don "Muchie" Buchie (Michael Rispoli) who, from Attica Prison, sends his brother Little Tony Buchie (Anthony Mangano), and his crew Benny "The Snail" Tucci (Vinny Pastore), and Dominick "Big Sally" Cuchie (Joseph D'Onofrio) to scope out the problem. The future of the business may lie in Little Tony's hands –with a scheme that includes the ancient competition, tug of war.

Along the way, Mike becomes smitten with Gregory McQuire's gorgeous assistant Honey Caputo (Katie McCarty). But Gregory and Mike have a long-running rivalry which motivates Gregory even more to take down Golden Gate. Mike is determined to save his family's store and win Honey's heart.
