LOS ANGELES - eTradeWire -- Indonesian cultural ambassador and Southern California community leader Nicky Dare returned to the stage at the 4th Annual VAPI – Valley Asian and Pacific Islanders Cultural Festival at Pierce College, Woodland Hills. Representing Indonesia, Dare showcased a powerful lineup of live performances including Pencak Silat martial arts, along with Balinese and Javanese cultural dances, in partnership with the Indonesian Consulate of Los Angeles.

"This event isn't just a festival—it's a cultural mirror," said Dare. "I was raised in Texas in the 1970s, but my Indonesian roots never left me. Today, I stand in California honoring both."

A long-time advocate for cross-cultural unity, Nicky Dare has spent over three decades building connections across communities through leadership, education, and preparedness. Her participation in VAPI 2025 reaffirms her ongoing commitment to preserving heritage while inspiring new generations to lead with awareness and pride.
