LAMBOURN, U.K. - eTradeWire -- As lockdown eases, B&B guests at Long Acre Farm in Seven Barrows now have their own self-contained space. Please do email if you want images or more information:

Long Acre Farmhouse B&B at Seven Barrows is an idyllic escape near Lambourn, in the beautiful Berkshire Downs. It opens for summer with a new dining room offering guests of the 3 en suite bedrooms more space and privacy, complementing the light-flooded dayroom. Breakfast is delivered to the dining areas in line with current social distancing guidelines. Contact Joanna Preston for reservations from May 17. T: 07815 782518  E:

Joanna and her husband Mark used lockdown to transform their office in the farm's former pigsty into an elegant dining room, echoing the accommodation's chic post-rustic style. Expect flawless décor, fine linen, fresh flowers and a copious breakfast, home-made by Joanna using produce from the organic farm: compotes, granola, eggs, meats, berries and fruit/vegetable smoothies. Pure water is drawn from their own bore hole. Home-made evening meals and picnics are available by prior arrangement.

Long Acre Farmhouse B&B is set in 40 acres of the Lambourn Downs on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border. The farmhouse dates from 1750 and has links to the Bloomsbury set. The working organic farm was bought in 2007 by the Preston family, who have reconstructed, redesigned and improved the property in a chic countryside style all their own.
