New Historical Fiction Novel "Executive Order No. 9066" Sheds Light on a Dark Chapter of American History
eTradeWire News/10773535
GAINESVILLE, Ga. - eTradeWire -- In the gripping new novel "Executive Order No. 9066", author Sollace Freeman takes readers back to the chaotic days following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Through the eyes of protagonist Gerald Horito, we experience the harrowing impact of Executive Order No. 9066, which led to the internment of thousands of Japanese Americans.
Freeman's narrative explores themes of injustice, identity, and resilience. Gerald, after losing his grandparents to the camp's brutal conditions, is driven by a mix of grief and determination to seek retribution. His quest leads him to the heart of America's war effort in Los Alamos, NM, where he faces the ultimate test of loyalty and honor.
"Executive Order No. 9066" is not merely a historical novel; it's a poignant testament to the indomitable human spirit amidst the shadows of injustice and the enduring power of hope in the face of despair. Through twists and turns spanning continents and conscience, Freeman crafts a tale that resonates with echoes of courage, sacrifice, and, ultimately, the triumph of the human heart. The novel is a must-read for anyone interested in the complexities of wartime America and the stories of those who lived through it.
