A new ecommerce platform for Medite Trimax, designed and developed by Imaginaire
eTradeWire News/10803614
Reinforcing sustainable innovation with a user-friendly, future-proof platform
NOTTINGHAM, U.K. - eTradeWire -- MEDITE SMARTPLY, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of sustainable MDF and OSB panels, has launched a brand new e-commerce website for its innovative MEDITE TRIMAX product line.
The new website, designed and developed by Nottingham-based agency Imaginaire( https://imaginaire.co.uk/ ), marks the company's first direct-to-customer sales platform and sets a new benchmark for digital engagement in the building materials industry. To support the growing demand for MTX-based products, the new e-commerce website represents a step-change in the brand's commercial approach. Built as a standalone digital project, separate from the main brochure site, this new platform enables end users to learn about, explore, and now purchase TRIMAX products directly, offering a smooth, user-friendly experience optimised through desktop and mobile.

Medites' new venture requires a bespoke e-commerce and brochure-style hybrid site, featuring detailed technical information alongside smooth ordering functionality, clear mega menus, detailed project landing pages and supporting content in the form of case studies and blog articles. Imaginaire worked closely with the MEDITE SMARTPLY team to ensure the new platform is optimised for different user journeys—from new visitors researching sustainable cladding, to returning trade professionals ready to place an order. The platform has been carefully designed to support conversion while remaining flexible for future expansion, whether through product range development or potential integration with partner sites.
As part of the build, the sites also come with a flexible content infrastructure to support long-term engagement and audience growth. The new platform features dedicated areas for case studies and blog content, giving MEDITE the tools to showcase real-world projects while educating potential buyers and readers on the benefits of sustainable construction. Both areas are also fully manageable through the website's CMS, allowing any internal and external teams to keep content fresh, relevant and tailored to key audience segments.
