New Leadership Team Brings Olympic-level Experience and Safety Expertise to Advance Youth Sports Nationwide
SUWANEE, Ga. - eTradeWire -- The National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) proudly announces its new officers, whose leadership will elevate youth sports safety, access, and excellence across the nation. These leaders bring unparalleled expertise and a shared commitment to promoting safer and more impactful youth sports experiences.

The officers will collaborate closely with the current Board of Directors to create a Culture of Safety:
NCYS has been at the forefront of advocating for youth athlete well-being for 40 years. Representing a network of organizations serving some 60 million registered participants across all 50 states and U.S. territories, NCYS has driven impactful change through advocacy, education, and collaboration. From partnering with Congress to strengthen the Protection Act to establishing industry-wide background screening standards, NCYS has set the benchmark for safeguarding young athletes. - Ann Kitt-Carpenetti, Chair: With over 20 years in youth sports leadership, Ann brings a wealth of experience in safety, governance, and wellness initiatives. A former VP at USA Lacrosse, Ann managed U.S. National Teams and spearheaded health and safety initiatives through the Center for Sport Science. Her extensive governance experience includes roles with USA Field Hockey and World Lacrosse.
- Jack Crowe: Founder of the CoachSafely Foundation and legendary college football coach, Jack is a youth sports injury prevention pioneer. His foundation has transformed into a leading policy, research, and education organization, advocating for injury prevention standards.
- Dr. Gil Fried: A renowned sports law and risk management expert with over 30 years of experience, Gil is a sports management professor and Associate Dean at the University of West Florida. As a legal expert and accomplished author of 13 books, he has been pivotal in advancing safety standards in sports facilities nationwide.
- Adam Andrasko: As CEO of USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS), Adam brings over a decade of experience with National Governing Bodies and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Under his leadership, USAAS achieved a Silver medal in the Paris Olympics, showcasing his commitment to excellence in youth and high-performance sports.
