eTradeWire News/10595906
When wearing a mask is not an option, help protect yourself and those near you by inactivating the COVID-19 virus with alcohol-free TRI-OLOGY® MOUTH, FACE & HAND GUARD™.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - eTradeWire -- • For the past decade, TRIOLOGY® Restoring Rinse has been used to promote oral health and healing
• Independent lab testing indicates TRIOLOGY® is capable of inactivating SARS- CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus)
• NOWsystem, Inc. is looking to begin human testing to confirm the percentage of inactivation of the COVID-19 virus when the mouth rinse is used in the mouth
KANSAS CITY, Kansas (September 29, 2020) – NOWsystem, Inc. received promising test results from Microbac Laboratories, Inc. that its TRIOLOGY® Restoring Rinse inactivated 99.92% of SARS-CoV-2 during testing. Results from the lab indicate that "no virus was detected" in samples treated with the rinse.

These test results build off of anecdotal evidence that daily use of the mouth rinse inactivated viruses and prevented blisters from cold sores and fever sores. Over the past ten years, dentists have typically used TRIOLOGY® during procedures and recommend it to their patients for dry mouth, oral infections, pre- and post-surgery applications and daily hygiene for overall mouth and teeth protection. The company is now exploring how it can be used to combat COVID-19.
With a formulation already proven safe for human use, the company is looking to build off its prior experience and expertise, which includes three U.S. patents and an advisory board of dentists and business advisors. After ten years of research, NOWsystem was founded in January 2010 and moved into the Bioscience & Technology Business Center at KUMC in October 2012. Being part of the BTBC has allowed NOWsystem to tap into the entrepreneurial ecosystem and collaborate with fellow BTBC companies, including Likarda LLC and Oak Therapeutics.

For every bottle purchased, NOWsystem will donate a bottle to someone affected by homelessness or financially impacted by COVID-19.
