DERBY, U.K. - eTradeWire -- Derbyshire hotel, restaurant and golf complex Morley Hayes has been named one of the Top 25 hotels in the UK & Channel Islands by TripAdvisor, one of the world's biggest travel resources.

The four-star 32-bedroom hotel on Main Road in Morley was ranked 11th in TripAdvisor's annual Travellers' Choice Awards, which recognise the best hotels across Britain and the Channel Islands.

It is one of only two hotels in the Midlands and the only hotel in the East Midlands to be included in the Top 25.

First place in this year's awards went to The Resident Covent Garden in London. Also included in the Top 25 are The Resident Victoria, Royal Lancaster, and Hotel 41, all in London. The Green Park Hotel and The Lodge on Loch Goil in Scotland are also included in this year's list.

This is based on reviews and ratings given by travellers on TripAdvisor, which features more than one billion reviews, covering nearly eight million businesses including hotels, accommodation, restaurants and attractions.

More than 97% of visitors to the Morley Hayes Hotel ranked it 'Excellent' or 'Very good' on TripAdvisor, with guests praising the venue's 'courteous staff', 'excellent food', 'beautiful surroundings,' and the 'spotlessly clean' and 'spacious' rooms.
