Comfortable Hardwood Armchair Hits Hospitality, Medical, and Senior Living Markets
OREM, Utah - eTradeWire -- Holsag by MityLite launched a new hardwood chair today called the Meadowbrook Armchair. Built of sustainably sourced European Beechwood, these cushioned chairs feature hand-sanded wooden armrests and plush cushions upholstered in custom fabrics. The Meadowbrook is the fifth major product launch within six months for MITY Inc.
The Meadowbrook Armchair, which comes in a high-back or a low-back design, targets commercial, retail, and hospitality markets. It's designed to meet the seating needs of restaurants, lobbies, lounges, hotels, medical facilities, senior living centers, government buildings, and universities.
MITY, Inc. CEO Kevin McCoy commented, "With the launch of the Meadowbrook chair, we're expanding our commitment to design-forward, high-performance furniture. This new style reflects our passion for blending form and function—delivering a chair that's as durable as it is beautiful. It's built to withstand the rigors of commercial environments but designed with a refined aesthetic."

The Meadowbrook Armchair is hand-finished in a variety of wood stain options (including custom finish options) and features an antimicrobial finish to prevent the absorption of germs, bacteria, mold, mildew, and some viruses. It's intended for indoor use only and is manufactured in North America.
"The Meadowbrook is a fresh take on classic hardwood seating," said Melissa Loader, the Executive Director of Product Marketing & Development at MITY Inc. "We listened to our customers and created a chair that offers timeless style with modern comfort and durability. From hospitality venues to senior living and educational spaces, the Meadowbrook brings warmth, versatility, and lasting value."
Holsag by MityLite wooden furniture is made from wood harvested in FSC® certified forests. It is Greenguard certified, promoting indoor air quality. Purchasing the Meadowbrook Armchair and other Holsag by MityLite wooden chairs, barstools, and benches helps properties qualify for LEEDS credits and other sustainable building programs.
