ARLINGTON, Va. - eTradeWire -- Metropolitan Culinary Arts Institute (MCAI) Announces VA Approval for GI Bill® Education Benefits. MCAI is one of two remaining private culinary schools in DC Metro Area.
Arlington, VA — Metropolitan Culinary Arts Institute (MCAI), a culinary workforce program, located in Arlington, Virginia, is proud to announce that it has received approval to accept VA education benefits. Eligible veterans, active-duty military members, and qualified dependents may now use their GI Bill® benefits to enroll in MCAI's professional culinary programs.
This approval allows qualifying students to apply GI Bill® education benefits toward MCAI's intensive certificate programs in 'Culinary Arts' and 'Breads & Pastry Arts', both designed to prepare students for careers in the professional food industry.
Eligible students may receive GI Bill® benefits that include up to $29,921.00 for tuition and books and $2,952.00 for housing, depending on individual eligibility and VA determination, which covers the full cost of tuition. MCAI's tuition including textbooks and supplies for both Culinary Arts and Breads & Pastry Arts is the same price: 14 Weeks is $15,854 and 21 Weeks is $20,254.

MCAI offers immersive, career-focused training in a small-class environment. Programs are structured to provide practical culinary experience and industry-ready skills through accelerated 14-week and 21-week training programs.
MCAI also supports Veterans throughout the admissions process. The institute's admissions team works directly with Veterans and military-connected students to help navigate enrollment procedures and VA certification requirements. Eligible education benefits include the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) and Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E – Chapter 31) programs.
