Vickers, President and CEO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Dr. Alexandre B. de Moura, Founder and Director of New York Spine Institute. Proceeds from the event help patients and families cover the costs associated with treatment, including transportation, housing, and meals, expenses that are rarely covered by insurance. Most of the Foundation's patients come from underserved communities and face overwhelming challenges as they pursue a lifesaving transplant. The Foundation steps in to ensure no one is left behind because of cost or circumstance.
