81% of Minority Tech Professionals Report Feeling Excluded or Facing Microaggressions
EAST BAY, Calif. - eTradeWire -- Despite some progress, a significant number of minorities still do not feel fully included or experience true diversity within the tech industry. This sentiment was echoed in a recent survey conducted by B-Me Today, which found that 81% of minority tech professionals reported feeling excluded or experiencing microaggressions in their workplaces.

- 72% of minority tech professionals have experienced or witnessed workplace discrimination based on their race or ethnicity.
- 64% believe their companies are not doing enough to promote diversity and inclusion.
- 48% have considered leaving their jobs due to the lack of inclusion. These statistics highlight the need for continued efforts to address systemic barriers and unconscious biases that contribute to the lack of inclusion for minorities in tech.
