MBCEA Mid-Atlantic Division Presents Scholarships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - eTradeWire -- The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) Mid-Atlantic Division presented two students, Will Hance and Cade Hutchison, with $6,000 scholarships each. The presentation took place at the annual Holiday Social held December 13 in Blue Bell, PA.
Hance, from Long Valley, New Jersey, is a first-year student at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. He is studying entrepreneurship and construction management and was sponsored by Hance Construction, Inc. of Washington, NJ, where he works during the summer.
Hutchison is from Chesterfield, NJ and is a sophomore at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. He is studying civil engineering and is currently on the Dean's List. He was sponsored by Thomas Phoenix International, located in Eastampton, NJ, where he has worked for several summers.

They are great examples for anyone interested in working with metal buildings. We are proud to honor them with these awards."
The Mid-Atlantic Division consists of metal building contractors and erectors in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia who are MBCEA members. The scholarship program is available to employees of member companies as well as their children. It is designed to help train workers and make the metal building industry better and stronger. Undergraduate and graduate school, vocational school, continuing education, and apprenticeship training programs are eligible for the scholarships.
