This summer, Maryland Vegan Eats plans to mask on and "fight" for Maryland restaurants in a truly compassionate way by encouraging food service establishments, that are open and available to their customers during these trying times, to offer healthy, plant-based and/or vegan menu items as part of their menu selections.

BALTIMORE - eTradeWire -- This summer, Maryland Vegan Eats plans to mask on and "fight" for Maryland restaurants in a truly compassionate way by encouraging food service establishments, that are open and available to their customers during these trying times, to offer healthier, plant-based and/or vegan food items as part of their menu selections.

From August 1 through August 9, please join in this "fight" during the summer edition of Vegan Restaurant Week: Fight For Maryland Restaurants! Restaurants are being asked to promote healthier menus with whole food plant-based items which can benefit one's health, reduce animal cruelty, and save the environment. Enjoy a variety of plant-based and/or vegan menu items. Customers will get to cast their vote on their favorite dishes. All customers are welcome, not just vegans!  Are you up for the "fight"?!  Maryland Vegan Restaurant Week is a great treat for everyone, vegan or not.

Registration for restaurant participation is now open and for the first time registration fees are being waived! Restaurants now is the the chance to join in!  Participating restaurants will produce healthier, tastier and creative plant-based cuisines that reduce animal cruelty and save the environment while offering up these options to customers on their menus. Best of all, there will be something for every foodie, vegan or otherwise.

Maryland Vegan Eats is the brainchild of the Land of Kush and the Golden West Cafe. The mission of Vegan Restaurant Week is to bridge the gap by increasing the awareness, benefits and accessibility of a plant-based diet through a fun, innovative and community-based experience. Maryland is an exciting and vibrant state full of unique counties, towns and neighborhoods boasting incredible diversity. Nothing brings people together quite like good food. The mission of Maryland Vegan Restaurant Week is to bridge the gap by increasing the awareness, benefits and accessibility of a plant-based diet through a fun, innovative and community-based experience. Maryland Vegan Restaurant Week became an instant hit when more than 30 local Baltimore restaurants joined for the inaugural event in August of 2017.
