Maria Ermakova love for music and the pursuit of a goal
eTradeWire News/10732122
Although Masha practiced singing and dancing for three years, her love for music eventually took over dancing.
NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- Maria Ermakova began her passion for dancing at a young age of 5. It was when she was 8 years old when she discovered her love for singing. One summer, at 6 years old, Masha visited her grandmother who sang a beautiful song titled "Forest Deer." Instantly captivated, Masha asked her grandmother to teach her to sing it. Although her grandmother printed out the lyrics, Masha's memory did not need it. She memorized every word and melody while her grandmother prepared breakfast. With her talent, her parents hired a vocal teacher who saw her potential and advised her to develop her skills. Though Masha juggled singing and dancing classes for three years, her love for music eventually took precedence over dance.
In 2017, Masha joined "The Voice of Children. Ukraine," her first significant challenge as a singer. She accompanied a friend during the audition, but eventually decided to participate as well. Masha delivered an excellent performance of Summertime and garnered more than 2 million views. It led her to the finals, where she performed "Run to You." The competition gave her a chance to explore Ukraine's rich musical culture.

Ruslan Kvinta, the music producer of the project, took notice of Masha's talent. In 2018, he composed a song for her to participate in the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Belarus. Unfortunately, the jury decided that the song was not suitable for the competition. Nevertheless, Masha remained resolute and tried again in 2019. This time, she emerged as a favorite in Belarus but lost to another contender.
Despite the setback, Masha persisted in her passion for singing. In 2020, she was invited to participate in the D2D Destiny Foundation project, where she performed with the children of Eurovision and America's Got Talent winners and finalists, advocating for children with cancer.
However, in 2021, Masha faced another obstacle. Her grandmother, the one who first discovered her vocal talent, passed away. Masha was left with a choice: to honor her grandmother's dream or to forget about singing altogether. She chose the former and pushed harder towards her goal.
