Making Climate Action Accessible

Join us this Saturday in North Miami Beach to plant native and conserve endangered butterfly habitats!
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Waterway Advocates is bringing accessible climate action to North Miami Beach this weekend. On Saturday, August 13, at 9 am, volunteers will be planting native species and revitalizing critical pollinator habitats at the historic Greynolds Park. This is the first of many green spaces popping up throughout South Florida as part of the non-profit's Nature Hubs & Pollination Stations program.
"Revitalizing green spaces is an essential component of our plan to combat climate change," said Ben Swanson, Co-Executive Director of Waterway Advocates. The Greynolds Pollination Station is the kick-off to a series of events encouraging residents to harness the power of soil and plants to reduce their carbon footprint, all while conserving endangered pollinator habitats and creating healthier waterways.
