BOSTON - eTradeWire -- Filmmaker Crosby Tatum announces the release of "A Living Legacy | The People, United! A Cinematic Diary," a short-form companion documentary revisiting the impact of George Floyd's death five years later. Shot on location in Minneapolis during the 5th anniversary, the film offers an emotional tribute to the legacy of protest, remembrance, and progress.
"This special piece is an ode to how far we have come, and how far we have to go, in order to push for change," says Crosby Tatum, Director of The People, United! "Despite the prevailing circumstances we are in, this short film, in conjunction with our original film, serves to provide everyone a sense of hope that we seek for ourselves, and also what we desire in our world. We can't go back. We can only go forward."

The special short film features interviews and speeches from members of the family of George Floyd, community members of George Floyd Square, performances and expressions from artists such as Juice Lord, Lewiee Blaze, Dee-1, Kelontae Gavin, and Grammy Award-Winning Sounds of Blackness.
Audiences are also encouraged to stream the full feature documentary The People, United! now available on Prime Video and Filmzie.
