Legacy Commercial Contractors Delivers Layne's Chicken Fingers' 50th Location in Lubbock, Texas
eTradeWire News/10842197
LUBBOCK, Texas - eTradeWire -- Legacy Commercial Contractors announced the completion and grand opening of Layne's Chicken Fingers' 50th location, a 3,000-square-foot store delivered by the Legacy team in Lubbock, Texas. The store opened its doors on June 10th, 2026.
The Lubbock store is Legacy's second Layne's build and the first of several planned for the Lubbock market. About a dozen more Layne's locations are in the active pipeline across Texas.
Legacy's leadership, including CEO Kyle Adams, COO Craig Pincince, and Director of Compliance and Marketing Mandy Hurst, has worked alongside the Layne's corporate team for several years on the development side of the business. The relationship deepened recently as Legacy stepped in to help build out the brand across the South-Central US. Through that work, the Layne's corporate team has introduced Legacy to several franchisees, and Legacy is now actively partnering with several of them to grow the brand.

The June 13 grand opening brought together the Layne's corporate team, CEO Garrett Reed, owner Mike Garratt and his family, franchise partner Eli Cohen, and C5 Restaurants to celebrate the milestone. Meeting Mike and hearing his story firsthand was a highlight for the Legacy team.
""Fifty locations is a real milestone, and we're proud to have helped Layne's get there. This is only our second build for them, but it sure won't be our last. We've got two more Lubbock locations under construction right now, several more going up across Texas, and a strong relationship with the Layne's team and their franchisees. Watching this brand grow the right way is the kind of partnership we built Legacy for."
— Kyle Adams, CEO, Legacy Commercial Contractors
Legacy has two more Layne's Chicken Fingers locations under construction in Lubbock, three more underway across Texas, and over a dozen additional locations in the pipeline for franchisees and Layne's corporate.
Legacy congratulates the entire Layne's Chicken Fingers team on hitting 50 locations and thanks the corporate team for the trust they've placed in Legacy's people. The team looks forward to helping Layne's keep growing across Texas.
