Building on that momentum, Sunny Yard went on to capture the festival's highest honor, Best in Fest, at the Hispanic International Film Festival at the Cinema Art Theater in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Written, directed, produced, and starring Colon, Sunny Yard follows a stubborn junkyard owner whose life begins to unravel when a string of petty thefts threatens her livelihood.
