LactaLogics Nears Completion of Donor Milk Facility for NICU Babies
eTradeWire News/10825752
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- LactaLogics, a company focused on human milk-based nutrition for premature and at-risk infants, recently announced its new processing facility in Port St. Lucie is near completion. With final commissioning underway, the company remains on track to begin human milk production in the first half of 2026. Once operational, the 72,000 square foot facility will help expand access to shelf-stable donor human milk, giving hospital teams and parents a reliable, ready-to-use option and helping more infants receive human milk when they need it most.
"Reaching toward 95 percent readiness is a major milestone. It isn't just a manufacturing milestone, it represents meaningful progress for babies and families who depend on human milk during the most critical days of life," said Glenn Snow, CEO and Co-Founder of LactaLogics. "As the company proceeds through final commissioning, LactaLogics is focused on ensuring hospitals have consistent access to human milk products that support infant outcomes."

This milestone brings LactaLogics one step closer to supporting more families through some of their most vulnerable moments, when consistent access to human milk can change a baby's trajectory.
Each step of the buildout was designed with one goal in mind: making human milk more available to the infants who depend on it. Over the past year, LactaLogics has completed the installation of core processing systems and implemented robust quality and safety protocols across collection, processing, and packaging. The plant has been designed to scale as demand for human milk-based nutrition grows, helping hospitals and families access a consistent, reliable supply.
"We're committed to ensuring hospitals have reliable access to high-quality donor milk so infants can receive the nutrition they need to grow and thrive," said Steven White, Head of Manufacturing and Quality at LactaLogics. "As we prepare for launch, we are preparing this site to support a smooth ramp up to production and to deliver products our partners can trust."

The facility will also support LactaLogics Donor Success Program, which connects mothers with surplus breast milk to premature infants and babies in need. By combining advanced technology with thoughtful donor support, LactaLogics aims to make a human milk diet more accessible to infants.
