Fresh Off Global Tour Backing Say She She and Celebrating 26 Years, One of the Modern Era's Tightest Outfits Brings the Fire-Breathing Psych-Afro-Soul of New Album 'Chimera' to Los Angeles with F-Spot Records' The Bombillas
LOS ANGELES - eTradeWire -- LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles' premier funk, soul, and afro-disco monolith, Orgone, returns to home turf for a major milestone event. On Thursday, June 4th, the legendary group will take the stage at the Teragram Ballroom to celebrate an incredible 26-year legacy of keeping the groove alive in Southern California and across the globe. This long-awaited performance marks an explosive homecoming for a band recognized as a foundational pillar of the West Coast soul movement.
Orgone lands back in California firing on all cylinders, fresh off pulling double-duty as the studio band for global discodelic sensations Say She She and circling the globe as the live backing band for their wildly successful world tour.

The performance will showcase tracks from their heavy-hitting recent LP, Chimera—a fire-breathing spectacle of psychedelic Afro-soul. Translating the album's dream-like odyssey to the stage, Orgone will trip through textures of entrancing voodoo soul, thrumming Afro-funk, stoney psych-rock, and the hazy swamp sounds of New Orleans. To bring this multicultural, heavy-groove experience to life, the band is assembling a spectacular rotating lineup of their most iconic vocal collaborators, featuring the powerhouse talents of Terin Ector and Jamie Allensworth (both heavily featured on the Chimera LP) alongside the sublime Gina Murrell.
"Playing Los Angeles is always a family reunion for us, but this one hits different," says founding member and guitarist Sergio Rios. "Twenty-six years in the pocket is a beautiful thing. Spending the last year touring the world and locking in on big stages was an incredible ride, but there is nothing like bringing that energy back home. Combining the fire of the Chimera tracks with Terin, Jamie, and Gina together on one stage is going to push the room into absolute overdrive. We're coming in hot."

Adding local brilliance to the evening, the night will open with a performance by fellow Los Angeles instrumental staples The Bombillas.
