BEDMINSTER, N.J. - eTradeWire -- Join us at The Center for Contemporary Art ("The Center") in Bedminster on Saturday, November 22 from 2-3:30pm for Kids Paint & Snack: Fall Fun Edition.
Celebrate the colors and flavors of fall with an afternoon of creativity and tasty treats!
In this hands-on session, kids, ages 8-13, will create their own fall-themed painting. Teaching artist Amy Ohlson will provide guided step by step instruction so everyone can walk away with a masterpiece. While everyone's brushes are busy, they will enjoy seasonal snacks that capture the cozy spirit of autumn.
This is a relaxed, fun-filled event perfect for beginners and experienced young artists alike. Come ready to explore, create, and snack your way through the magic of fall!
Amy Hartmann-Ohlson earned a BFA in ceramics from Mason Gross School of the Arts and a Masters in Art Education from Kean. Currently, she is enjoying her 10th year as an elementary art teacher in the Manville School district. Amy finds inspiration in childhood memories, the calligraphy of ancient texts, colors, textures, and shapes from the natural world, as well as contemporary paintings.
