WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. - eTradeWire -- Ketcham Racing will host its first ever Car & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls. This free event will showcase a diverse selection of classic and custom vehicles from across the Hudson Valley, along with food vendors, local businesses, and family-friendly activities.
Ketcham Racing is one of six teams participating in the Winners Circle Project, who are aiming to help students prepare for dynamic careers in the workforce through project-based learning. The reigning champions of the 2023-2024 academic year, Ketcham Racing strives to be a trendsetter within both their organization and their community. After another year of dedicated work on building their brand and assembling a new kit car, this group of young professionals is excited to invite the community to this showcase event to celebrate a season of remarkable progress.
The Winners Circle Project is a non-profit organization designed to inspire fresh, young, and innovative minds through STEAM programs embedded in the exciting world of car racing. Over the course of one academic year, high school students will build a Factory Five vehicle from the ground up. Teams from six high schools will compete in various categories, including car build, social media, marketing deliverables, and a racing simulator E-series. One winner, based on overall points in these categories, will be selected at Lime Rock Park in May 2025.
