Kent Youth And Family Services Announces Sale Of Multifamily Property To Expand Impact

KENT, Wash. - eTradeWire -- Kent Youth and Family Services (KYFS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the healthy development of children, youth, and families, announced today the upcoming sale of Watson Manor, a 10-unit housing community in Kent.
The decision to sell the property aligns with KYFS's mission to provide professional counseling, education, and support services that empower youth and families to achieve their goals for a better future.
"We remain deeply committed to advocating for equitable opportunities and partnering with the community to create better futures," explains Brian Smith, KYFS Board President.

Proceeds from the sale will be strategically reinvested into the organization to enhance programs that directly serve the community, including the expansion of Behavioral Health programming to include Occupational Therapy and Psychiatry services.
"This sale will strengthen our ability to provide essential counseling, education, and youth programs for generations to come," added Trista Helvey, Executive Director.
The property will be listed for sale in 2026.
