RICHMOND, Calif. - eTradeWire -- From August through November of 2020 SF Bay Area Pop Artist Kenneth Roy's seminal project, 'Chairman', got off to a quick start charting two pre-released hit singles, 'Let Your Love Come Down' and 'Two of a Kind'.  Kenny's musical journey began playing drums at the age of 4 and piano from 6. His influences were Country Music and R&B through Bay Area keyboardists/composer Si Perkoff and Dick Hindman. The singer/songwriter had percussion guidance from educator/performer Colin Bailey and session player Bob Belanski. Its through their combined tutelage that the music of this North Bay artist would travel across Funk through Rock and R&B into Hot A/C and Gospel.   The driving forces, Kenneth Roy and Daniel 'Doctor' Ryman, singer/songwriter and producer/engineer are long time collaborators. Multi-instrumentalist 'Doctor' Ryman's career spans 40 years of performance, recording, mixing and mastering. His musical pedigree includes working with artists and projects such as Quincy Jones (The Color Purple), B.B. King, Ray Lynch (Platinum albums), The Mighty Diamonds, Philippe Wynn (The Spinners) and Earth, Wind & Fire.  The duo is backed by world renowned saxophonist Richard Howell (Chaka Khan, Etta James, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy) and bassist  Baron Chase (Marty Balin, Lester Chambers, Tony Williams, Jon Anderson, Clarence Clemens) transforming this hot duo into a powerful quartet. The additional 'juice' of local horn players, Danny Armstrong on trombone and Geechi Taylor on trumpet, bring a large-scale live band sound rarely heard on modern recordings. Live rhythm tracks and 'old school' tracking techniques applied at the 'Doctor's' AudioEmissary Studio give the album a stunning HD and warm analog sound quality.  Available on all major streaming services the 'Chairman' also contains a special USBII card with 24bit HD Audio and full HD Music video.
