The Polish American Congress of Arizona Honors Author Katrina Shawver

PHOENIX - Dec. 4, 2018 - eTradeWire -- The Polish American Congress of Arizona awarded Katrina Shawver the 2018 Polish Heritage Award for "her contribution to the documentation of the suffering inflicted on Polish People during the Holocaust." The award was presented at the 44th Annual Polish Heritage Ball held in Phoenix Arizona in front of a crowd of 190 people. This is one of their highest awards and is rarely awarded to someone who is not Polish.

Shawver is the author of the Adult Nonfiction Biography "HENRY: A Polish Swimmer's True Story of Friendship from Auschwitz to America." The book continues to receive accolades and has also been named a winner in the following book award programs:
