Katie Valentin joins Guadalupe Center as director of marketing and communications

NAPLES, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Guadalupe Center has added Katie Valentin as director of marketing and communications to raise awareness, generate donations and cultivate volunteer support for the Immokalee-focused nonprofit.
In this role, Valentin oversees internal and external communications with a focus on developing brand awareness. Guadalupe Center is an education-focused organization that provides high-quality education programs to more than 1,950 Immokalee students each year.
Valentin leads Guadalupe Center's marketing, public relations, social media and communications to connect donors, philanthropic partners, community members, lawmakers and other stakeholders with the organization's mission to break the cycle of poverty through education for the children of Immokalee.

Prior to joining Guadalupe Center, Valentin was director of communications and director of events for Naples-based Icon Management. She also has experience at two premier golfing communities in Naples as events manager at Fiddler's Creek Country Club and membership and marketing coordinator at Windstar Country Club.
Valentin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from Florida Gulf Coast University and completed a post-baccalaureate certificate in strategic communications from Purdue University.
