Inventor Saves Honey Bees! New invention makes destroying Varroa Mites affordable
eTradeWire News/10499933
Inventor Chris Wood lost his bee hives to the Deadly Varroa Mite infestation and declared WAR on the Varroa mite. His new Patent Pending invention makes treating hives fast, easy, effective and affordable for all!
SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 20, 2018 - eTradeWire -- When Engineer Chris Wood set up honey bee hives in his back yard as a project for his Daughters, he thought "This will be an easy project to involve the girls". Set up a couple of hives, tend to them once a week, we'll get honey and life will be good.
After investing hundreds of dollars, the family was excited. The bees seemed to be thriving and this simple project was easier than owning a dog.
However, a couple of weeks later, the bees were gone! As with most folks, he blamed pesticides. He visited with a large bee keeper in the area and was informed the actual cause was the pervasive Varroa mite. These little creatures, about the size of a flea, will burrow into the bee under the wing and lay eggs. They carry all types of diseases like deformed wing virus which makes the bees wander off and die. Honey Bees are Super Organisms and if they detect they may adversely affect the hive, they wander off and die to save the hive.

Scientists warn that if the bees die, human life could perish as well.
Being a problem solver, Chris searched for a solution. The only effective solution was a very expensive apparatus that required a compressor and generator plus thousands of dollars in cost for the machine. This significant cost may be within reach for large commercial operators but to a hobbyist or smaller bee keeper, that solution was out of reach.
After hundreds of hours of exhaustive research, Chris discovered Oxalic acid treatments solved the problem but the delivery methods were far too slow, cumbersome and expensive.
Viola' the Mite E Vapor was born! This compact, effective solution was affordable and reduced hive treatment cost from $6-$10 per treatment to less than $.25 per treatment and the Mite E Vapor unit cost was projected to be far less than $1000 with only an inexpensive power inverted to power it from your car.
Chris built a working prototype and treated hundreds of hives for himself and commercial operators he befriended. The consensus, the market NEEDS the Mite E Vapor!
An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to take the Mite E Vapor from prototype to full blown production!
