About Director Paul Docherty: Starting out as a video games graphics designer in the 1980s, Paul has worked in film and television now for over two decades. Starting out as an assistant editor for Ken Burns at Florentine Films, he has gone on to edit documentaries such as FACING FORWARD: A STUDENT'S STORY for PBS, and JODOROWSKY'S DUNE for SONY PICTURES CLASSICS. His animation has also appeared in television documentaries including GENESIS: TOGETHER AND APART, and LENNON NYC.

HEART OF NEON is Paul's first feature documentary as director.
