FORT MYERS, Fla. - eTradeWire -- The Fort Myers Community Concert Association will host the Imani Winds and the Boston Brass February 12 for the third concert of the 2025 season.
It is the 75th concert season, which organizers say brings the best in symphony orchestras, brass and wind ensembles to Southwest Florida
"Having both the Imani Winds and the Boston Brass on the same stage is going to be a unique experience for our audience. Attendees will hear the best of chamber music as well as jazz in one night," said Community Concert Association President Mary Lee Mann.
The Imani Winds is celebrating more than a quarter century of music-making. The twice Grammy nominated ensemble embraces chamber music and newly commissioned works from voices that reflect historical events and the times in which we currently live. They regularly perform in prominent venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center.
