About the Author
With a doctorate in Psychology, Alice Licata walked the halls of academia before turning her energies toward another passion: raising her two daughters. Inspired, she wrote It's Not Rocket Science: Down-to-Earth Advice on Raising Stellar Kids, hoping to empower other parents. She's since returned to teaching— now grades 6-12—where she makes it her mission to ensure today's kids still know how to use a good old-fashioned dictionary and tell time on an analog clock. She lives in Ohio with her two canine kids. She enjoys walking them through the hills of her neighborhood, savoring the little things and contemplating her next project.
