AVA, Mo. - eTradeWire -- Calling all musicians and songwriters! The Highlonesome Music Festival 2024 is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Original Songwriting Competition, set to take place on The Main Stage on Sunday, September 29th. This is your chance to win a spot in the 2025 festival lineup and showcase your talent at one of the most unique music festivals in the Missouri Ozarks.
The theme for this year's competition is "The moment everything changed." Submit your original songs inspired by this suggested theme and get ready to perform in front of a live audience at the festival.
Registration for the songwriting contest opens on July 12th, 2024. Entry is free for all festival attendees with a full festival pass, and a $20 fee applies for those participating in the songwriting contest only.
