Local Author J. Henry Tate to Host Unique Fundraiser Book Signing for Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley, Huntsville, AL.
Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley (Formally Habitat for Humanity of Madison Co.) is excited to announce a unique fundraiser featuring a book signing with local author John H. Tate, writing under the pen name J. Henry Tate, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The event will take place at Habitat for Humanity's building, located at 400 Pratt Ave, NW, Huntsville, AL 35801.
Tate, a longtime volunteer and former board member with Habitat for Humanity of Madison Co., will be signing copies of his latest novel, "Echoes of Betrayal: Protocol Clean Slate". This gripping novel, praised for its intricate storytelling, promises to captivate readers, while also supporting a great cause.

In a generous effort to give back to the community he has served for over two decades, 25% of the proceeds from book sales at the event will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley. This contribution will help the nonprofit continue its mission of building affordable housing and providing vital support to families in need.
Tate has been a dedicated volunteer with Habitat since 2001, serving on the Family Selection Committee and later chairing it. He also held two terms as an officer during his tenure on the Board of Directors.
"We're incredibly grateful to John for his years of service and for choosing Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley as the beneficiary of this fundraiser," said Jeremy Foulks, Executive Director. "This book signing is a wonderful way for people to enjoy a great read while making a meaningful contribution to our community."
The event is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author, purchase signed copies of his book, and learn more about Habitat for Humanity's work in the local area.
