Christmas in July Food Drive aims to support local community through client-choice food pantry.

TOMS RIVER, N.J. - eTradeWire -- The HOPE Center in Toms River is excited to announce the launch of its "Christmas in July" food drive, running throughout the entire month of July. As summer brings unique challenges, especially with school being out, there is a heightened need for food support in our community. To meet the increased demand, The HOPE Center will be accepting non-perishable food donations starting July 1st, with collection hours from 9am to 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

"This summer, we have an urgent need to restock our pantries and keep our shelves full," said Amy VanBezooijen of The HOPE Center. "With the support of our generous community, we can ensure that no family faces hunger during these challenging months."

Suggested donations include:
  • Soup
  • Canned tomato products
  • Juice
  • Coffee and tea
  • Canned fruits
  • Tuna and chicken
  • Pasta

Throughout the month of July, The HOPE Center invites everyone in the community to contribute to this vital cause. By donating non-perishable food items, you can help support our neighbors and friends who rely on The HOPE Center's client-choice pantry.
