Have your say in the 2025 SOEWP survey
eTradeWire News/10822055
Help shape the future of WordPress and contribute to an industry-wide snapshot of how major organisations use the world's most popular CMS.
MIDDLESBROUGH, U.K. - eTradeWire -- Now in its third year, the State of Enterprise WordPress (SOEWP) survey is open once again, inviting enterprise users across the globe to share their insights, challenges, and experiences with the world's most widely used CMS.
Led by UK enterprise web agency Big Bite and supported by a wide network of enterprise WordPress agencies, the survey provides a unique opportunity for large-scale organisations to influence the future of the platform.
Each year, SOEWP builds a comprehensive snapshot of how major brands, institutions, and publishers are leveraging WordPress, and what they need from it as their digital operations evolve. Responses are aggregated and anonymised, culminating in a free report that offers real-world insight into implementation strategies, budget priorities, technical blockers, and the changing role of open source in high-scale environments.

Last year's report - SOEWP 2024 - featured contributions from more than 100 global organisations, including Amnesty International, The Times, Capgemini, and Princeton University. Among its most striking findings: 96% of respondents cited extensibility as a key reason for choosing WordPress, while more than 90% named performance and usability as central factors. It also revealed a growing commitment to the platform, with a sharp rise in long-term usage and open source contribution across enterprise teams.
With SOEWP 2025, the survey is digging deeper, exploring how large organisations are implementing WordPress at scale, the challenges they face, and the opportunities they see ahead. By taking part, enterprise brands will help inform the ongoing development of tools, features, and standards that better reflect the needs of high-stakes users across all sectors.
Organisations currently using WordPress at an enterprise level - covering everything from multinational brands to public institutions - are invited to contribute their insights to this year's survey. Share your insights before the survey closes on Monday November 17th, visit www.soewp.com.
