The three episode series will be available on the Harrow House Films' Youtube page beginning May 15, 2025 and is now available on Prime TVOD. Surviving La Llorona was written and directed by Anubys Lopez and stars Cassandra Luna, Maria Schenck, Alfredo Resendez, Micah Obregon, Dave McClain, Andreina Dewendt, Cesar Castillo and Miguel Alvarez. Surviving La Llorona delves into real-life haunting experiences of individuals who have come face to-face with La Llorona, the weeping woman of Mexican folklore who haunts rivers and lakes, crying for her lost children. The legend varies, but the basic story is that she drowned her children and is now condemned to search for their souls forever. Through their narratives, the series uncovers the enduring power of this terrifying legend.
