Hacked on Crunchbase-Changing the World From Big Techs Grip on Surveillence Capitalism to Netverse Data Digital Sovereignty Was Never Going to be Easy
eTradeWire News/10846459
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - eTradeWire -- Crunchbase prides itself on being a true historical data platform, yet changing the world by returning real power to the individual, consumer and businesses was never going to be an easy path when confronting big tech's data-harvesting, profit-driven, entrenched global systems and power.
Traditional unverified software networks and surveillance capitalism thrive in unverified online environments where personal data and privacy protections are extracted en masse, and those who challenge this architecture face intense resistance.
Phinge Corporation announced today that the Crunchbase personal profile of its Founder and CEO, Robert DeMaio, alongside the official Phinge company profile, have been severely compromised and hacked. The egregious unauthorized breach of Mr. DeMaio's profile resulted in the deletion of all his personal funding rounds into Phinge, comprising over 50 rounds, and the removal of hundreds of press releases dating back to November 2025. Additionally, the corporate Phinge Crunchbase profile was altered to negatively edit and delete funding metrics and remove critical media updates.
This coordinated digital interference immediately drove Mr. DeMaio from his newly regained #1 global ranking down to #34,000 overnight. Prior to the breach, DeMaio consistently ranked number #1 globally on Crunchbase for approximately half of the last nine months and maintained a steady position within the global top five. The attack comes directly on the heels of Phinge's public disclosure of evidence preservation notices against Silicon Valley monopolies and its prior patent drafting legal counsel, signaling a deep institutional resistance to Phinge's mission of dismantling predatory data harvesting and returning data ownership and control to individuals.

Addressing the breach, CEO Robert DeMaio characterized the incident as systemic retaliation against a sole innovator whose June 2021 intellectual property disclosures, patents and priority rights for 'post-app' technologies challenge trillion-dollar monopolies for the betterment of everyone. He added that this could and would never have happened on Phinge's Netverse verified platform with verified Netverse Intelligence (NI) built in. He also emphasized that true security requires unyielding verification standards rather than lackluster software protections, moving the initiative to the public domain to engage individual consumers directly.
Current AI does not generate its own fuel; it relies entirely on a mandatory dual-input engine: individual consumer cash AND individual consumer data. Monopolies require your hard-earned dollars to build their hardware infrastructure, only for consumers to bail them out when they fail and suffer the harm they cause, while simultaneously requiring your private behavioral data to train their predictive models. Without both of these inputs running simultaneously, their entire extractive model completely collapses.
Phinge and Mr. DeMaio will not be deterred, and in fact, are even more committed to dismantling the surveillance capitalism society we are all forced to live under.
