Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County hosts annual A Taste for Homes

Event will take place on May 6th from 6pm-9pm at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank

FREEHOLD, N.J. - April 24, 2019 - eTradeWire -- Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County will be hosting its 4th annual "A Taste for Homes" event the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank, NJ on May 6. The evening will showcase over 20 local restaurants, wineries, and dessert specialists.

This year's honorees include Lowe's Home Improvement and Heilbrunn Pape as the Corporate Citizen Awardees, Merola Tile as the ReStore Champion Awardee, and Gary Lespinasse as the ReStore Service Awardee. All of this year's honorees have made signifcant contributions to Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County and its mission to build homes, communities and hope throughout Monmouth County.

The evening will include live entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and a "everyone is a winner" gift pull. The event is to celebrate the impact and difference volunteers and companies can make to provide people in our community with a decent place to live.

"Our annual A Taste for Homes event is an important part of how we support our mission," said Diane Kinnane, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County. "Every year the event grows and allows us to celebrate our amazing partners like Lowe's, Heilbrunn Pape, Merola Tile and Gary Lespinasse."

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County has built more than 55 new homes and assisted hundreds of families over the last 30 years. Since 2013, with the support of volunteers the organization has built 14 houses, assisted over 130 families with Sandy related repairs and reached many others through its A Brush with Kindness and Ramp and Rails projects.
