Guests to Find a Basketful of Fun at Georgia's Lanier Islands Resort Easter Weekend 2026
eTradeWire News/10831273
BUFORD, Ga. - eTradeWire -- Georgia's Lanier Islands Resort invites the South to put on its bunny ears and hop on over to the lake in time for Easter Sunday 2026. Located 45 miles north of Atlanta at 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford, the resort boasts 1,200 acres on the scenic Southern shoreline of Lake Lanier – providing an ideal backdrop for holiday photos. The lakeside destination also offers a variety of accommodations at special holiday pricing for Easter weekend, seatings throughout the day on April 5 for its chef-prepared brunch of springtime favorites, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny himself, and a series of classic Easter Egg Hunts.
"Whether they're staying with us overnight or simply coming out to visit during the day on Easter Sunday, it means a lot to the whole Islands team that our guests would choose our resort to feature so prominently in their holiday memories," said Lanier Islands Resort President Matthew Bowling. "Easter marks the start of Spring for many, and we've got a busy one planned! From the much-anticipated opening of Georgia's only night-lit Par 3 course right on the water to the return of a national sky lantern festival on our shores – and that's just March! Looking beyond Easter, there will be the reopening of our newly reimagined Legacy clubhouse and the return of our popular Mother's Day brunch in May. We are also looking forward to bringing back our Summer Concert Series with an awesome lineup of tribute bands, taking part in America's celebration of 250 years, and so much more."
