New Disability Navigation Office Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony set for June 30
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Community members, partners, and families are invited to celebrate the grand opening of a new Disability Navigation office in Charlotte County, expanding access to critical support services for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Operated through Goodwill Southwest Florida's Disability Services, NavAbilities, is a Disability Navigation program providing personalized guidance to help families connect with essential resources and services. The program simplifies what can often be a complex and overwhelming process by assisting individuals with navigating eligibility, applications, and services - including, but not limited to, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD).
Beyond applications, NavAbilities serves as a central hub for support, connecting families to healthcare, therapy, education, and community resources while assisting with paperwork and follow-up every step of the way.
