Ginn Receives Champion of Georgia's Cities Award

WINDER, Ga. - eTradeWire -- en. Frank Ginn (R-Danielsville) received a 2024 Champion of Georgia's Cities Award from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). The award, given at the end of every two-year legislative term to state legislators who actively support major GMA initiatives and goals, was presented to Ginn on September 3rd in Winder.

GMA recognizes Sen. Ginn for his leadership in supporting legislation that protects local control and allows city leaders to respond to the needs of their local community. In particular, Sen. Ginn was the co-chair of a study committee on service delivery strategy and the Senate sponsor of House Bill 1407, which GMA worked closely with the legislature to improve and advance. This legislation should improve the working relationships between cities and counties and allow them to deliver more efficient services to their residents.

Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit, and consulting services to its 536 member cities.
