ANCHORAGE, Alaska - eTradeWire -- Anchorage Assembly Member George Martinez announced today that he will seek re-election to the Anchorage Assembly, District 5 – East Anchorage, following a first term defined by tough challenges, bold solutions, and steady leadership focused on delivering for working families.
"Over the last three years, we've had no shortage of challenges, but we didn't flinch. We got to work, stayed focused on solutions, and delivered results for East Anchorage," said Martinez. "There's more to do, and I'm running for re-election because I know we can keep moving our city forward, together."
As Chair of the Assembly's Community & Economic Development Committee, Martinez has led on critical issues that touch every neighborhood: housing, infrastructure, youth opportunity, fiscal responsibility, and safe, connected communities.
