An intimate evening of art, conversation, and storytelling that shines a light on the resilience and survival woven into women's lived experiences.
Melbourne, VIC – 10th September, 2025 – Melbourne's arts scene will take centre stage on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with the opening of Scars of a Woman, a deeply personal and thought-provoking new exhibition by artist Ludwina. Hosted at Wheat, Wine & Whisky in Collingwood, the exhibition runs throughout October and November and will showcase a series of powerful works that explore women's resilience through the marks, textures, and scars they carry.
Each canvas in Scars of a Woman layers fabric, texture, and symbolism to reveal the hidden and visible stories of survival, struggle, and strength. The works invite audiences to reflect on their own journeys and connect with the resilience embedded in women's lived experiences.

"This series is about acknowledging the scars we carry, both physical and emotional, and reframing them as powerful symbols of survival and strength," says Ludwina. "Each piece is a testament to resilience and a reminder that scars do not diminish us—they shape who we are."
