LONDON - eTradeWire -- MyJoyToys founder Kelly has shared the personal journey behind the UK-based adult wellness platform recognised for pioneering mental-health-focused innovation in the adult retail sector.

Built independently without investors, funding or ever hiring a single member of staff, MyJoyToys has introduced multiple industry-first initiatives combining sexual wellness with emotional wellbeing and trauma-informed support.

During childhood, Kelly spent part of her early life receiving mental health care. As an adult, she began questioning why conversations around sexual wellness and emotional wellbeing remained disconnected — particularly in an industry often focused on products rather than people. That question became the foundation for MyJoyToys.

The platform was created in the box bedroom of Kelly's home using a second-hand £100 mix-and-match PC purchased on eBay. Today, she is still working from that same room and computer, having built the platform independently while achieving seven global industry-first milestones.
