Flagler Sportfishing Club Annual Classic Fishing Tournament Set for August 24, 2020

PALM COAST, Fla. - eTradeWire -- The Flagler Sportfishing Club is pleased to announce that the club will host its 24th Annual Classic Tournament on August 24th, 2020. Over 120 anglers will be vying for over $5,000 in cash prizes and merchandise to catch Redfish, Trout, Black Drum and Flounder. Proceeds from the Annual Tournament benefit the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The silent auction, registration and raffle event will take place on Friday, August 21st at the Social Club of Palm Coast, 31 Old Kings Rd., North, Palm Coast. There is a mandatory Captain's Meeting that same night at 7:00pm. The weigh-in takes place on Saturday August 22nd, 1:00-2:30pm at Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill, Flagler Beach.

"Once again this year, we are proud to have selected the Disabled American Veterans of Flagler County (DAV Chapter 6) as our chosen beneficiary," said Club President Chris Christian.

Tournament Facts
1) Captains Meeting – Friday, August 21, Social Club of Palm Coast, 31 Old Kings Rd, North, Palm Coast, 7:00pm.

2) Tournament Check out– Saturday, August 22, 7am – 4.30pm, Bing's Landing, Under the 100 Bridge, Dunlawton Ramp, or High Bridge

3) Weigh-in – Saturday, August 22, 1:00-2:30 Hidden Treasure, 820 Moody Lane, Flagler Beach

As part of our conservation efforts, we are encouraging live release of all redfish after weigh-in. The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) will be on site to assist with proper release, questions and techniques. They will also be giving away long sleeve performance shirts and $150 prize package that will be drawn from those who bring in their fish alive and release them.
